Weiwei Chen

Weiwei is interested in building compilers to get the uttermost performance out of computational systems. Before Modular, she has built several compilers from scratch, including MLIR-based compilers and a DSL for dataflow architecture at SambaNova Systems; and a Scala-based compiler for BigData acceleration on FPGAs at BigStream Solutions. She has also worked on concurrent programming library at Qualcomm Research Silicon Valley, and parallel simulation for her graduate study at UC Irvine. Weiwei enjoys playing the fiddle, reading high fantasy and science fiction books, going hiking and folk dancing in New England.
